Applications for an Erasmus+ study place are submitted via the University of Bonn's Mobility-Online portal. You must also submit all required documents in Mobility-Online by the application deadline. Be sure to read the detailed instructions for preparing your application on the Erasmus pages of the International Office of the University of Bonn beforehand.
Only complete applications will be considered.
Once you have been accepted for an ERASMUS study placement, you must create an Online Learning Agreement (OLA). To do this, contact the department at your host university to find out which seminars and lectures will be offered during your stay.
Before creating the Online Learning Agreement please schedule a consultation with the Erasmus program coordinator.
General instructions for creating the OLA can be found here. When filling out Table B, please follow these instructions from the Department of Philosophy; the corresponding course titles and registration codes can be found here: BA booking codes; MA booking codes.
You must earn at least 20 ECTS credits per semester at the host university.
The OLA must be signed by all parties—i.e., the student, the responsible program coordinator, and the responsible person at the host university’s department—before the start of your stay abroad. Otherwise, your eligibility for funding will be forfeited.
Any changes to your OLA must be made within the first five weeks of your stay at the host university.
If your seminars and achievements abroad (that you have listed in your OLA) are not automatically recognized, you must submit an application for recognition to the relevant examination office at your faculty. Please contact PD Dr. Jens Rometsch. The following documents are required for the application for recognition at the faculty:
- Confirmation of Stay
- Transcript of Records from the hosting university
- Final version of the Learning Agreement
Students in bachelor's (major, double major) and master's programs can download the application for recognition here. Students in teacher education programs should use this document for the application for recognition and also this overview of achievements.
Further information on the recognition procedure at the Faculty of Arts and Humanities can be found on the website of the Examination Office of the Faculty of Arts and Humanities.
