Students at the University of Bonn can study abroad at a partner university in Europe for 1-2 semesters with ERASMUS+.

Before applying for an Erasmus+ study place, please arrange a personal consultation with the Erasmus+ Student Advisor at the Department of Philosophy.
A complete application includes:
- Curriculum vitae in tabular form
- Overview of previous academic achievements (transcript of records)
- A short cover letter (1-2 pages) clearly stating your motivation for choosing the host country and your preferred host university
- Proof of the required language skills in the language of instruction and/or the national language
- Names of at least two od our parnter universities
An internal selection committee will decide on the awarding of scholarships based on the submitted documents. In addition to academic and language qualifications, the selection criteria include motivation, intercultural competence, and social engagement.
The application deadline is January 1 for the following academic year.
Applications for an Erasmus+ study place are submitted via the University of Bonn's Mobility-Online portal. You must also submit all required documents in Mobility-Online by the application deadline. Be sure to read the detailed instructions for preparing your application on the Erasmus pages of the International Office of the University of Bonn beforehand.
Only complete applications will be considered.
Nach der Zusage für einen ERASMUS-Studienplatz müssen Sie online ein Learning Agreement (OLA) erstellen. Hierzu erkundigen Sie sich beim Institut Ihrer Gastuniversität, welche Seminare und Vorlesungen während Ihres Aufenthalts angeboten werden. Eine allgemeine Anleitung zur Erstellung des OLA finden Sie hier. Für die Erstellung des OLA benutzen Sie bitte die folgenden Buchungscodes (BA-Buchungscodes; MA-Buchungscodes). Orientieren Sie sich dabei an dieser Anleitung des Instituts für Philosophie.
Sollten Ihre im Ausland erbrachten Seminare und Leistungen nicht automatisch anerkannt werden, muss beim zuständigen Prüfungsamt ein entsprechender Antrag auf Anerkennung gestellt werden. Bitte setzen Sie sich hierzu via E-Mail mit dem Erasmus-Fachkoordinator in Verbindung. Für den Anerkennungsantrag werden die folgenden Dokumente benötigt:
- Confirmation of Stay
- Transcript of Records der Gastuniversität
- Finale Fassung des Learning Agreements
Studierende im Bachelor- (Kernfach-, 2-Fach-) sowie im Masterstudiengang können den Anerkennungsantrag hier herunterladen. Studierende im Lehramtsstudiengang benutzen bitte dieses Dokument für den Antrag auf Anerkennung sowie zusätzlich diese Leistungsübersicht.

Im Rahmen des Erasmus+-Programms werden auch studienbezogene Praktika von 2 bis 12 Monaten in über 30 europäischen Ländern gefördert.
